Callpod Fueltank Portable Battery Pack Review

Portable power is a necessity to keep your portable electronics running when you are away from home. A portable battery pack called The Callpod Fueltank is the best solution out there for this. The Callpod Fueltank has two mini power ports that can be connected to the Callpod adapters which are perfectly matched to the adapters used for Chargepods. The power stored in the Fueltank is consumed depending on the amount of power needed by each device.

Despite of the small size of the carrying bag, it can still be used for the storage of Fueltank, power cord as well as the adapters, but it can no longer accommodate more devices such as the GPS and the MP3.

The rectangular form of this silver Fueltankis very simple yet it projects an elegant look with its big black stripe design that runs in the middle portion. This device measures 3.4 inches tall with 4.9 inches width and 0.72 inch deep. It is very light with a weight of only 7.3 ounces.

The two charging ports of the Fueltank can only charge two devices at the same time. It could be a cell phone, a gaming device or any other devices you have. The blue light appear when you inserted the adapters correctly when you are charging. If you want to charge more devices, you can connect a Chargepod to the Fueltank and attach more devices to it for charging. You just have to check the Fueltank every now and then because it might drain quickly.

The single mini USB port found at the other end is used for charging the Fueltank while the button next to it called the power meter button, determines the amount of power stored in it. The power meter button can be turned on anytime with the device held down.

A green light appear when the Fueltank is charging and by using the AC adapter included in the battery pack, it will be fully charged after 2.5 hours. When it is fully loaded with power, it will be able to charge several devices such as DS lite, Sandisk Sansa MP3 player, a SamsungMP3 player and many more. The Fueltank has a warranty of 1 year.
